Installs are cheap. Everything between install and payment is invisible.
A €0.35 install turns into a €19 registration and nobody can tell you where the other €18.65 went. Meta, SKAN and your subscription SDK each report a different number. Paid traffic doesn't fix a leaking funnel - it just shows you the leak faster. We fix the funnel and then buy the traffic, with people who did it at tens of millions of users.
"Is €2.30 CPI too high? Is 3% trial conversion low?" Nobody gives you a benchmark, so every decision is a guess dressed as a strategy.
The store listing was written once, two years ago. The paywall is seen by a fifth of the people who install. Onboarding asks eleven questions before showing any value.
Your tools cost more than your media. The attribution dashboard, the paywall SDK per conversion, the intelligence subscription - and still three numbers for one install.
Make it measurable. Make it convert. Then make it scale.
Numbers from apps we grew - and from the ones we run ourselves.
We buy traffic for our own apps every day. With our own money.
The people on this page grew platforms to tens of millions of users and ran acquisition for apps you've heard of. They also run acquisition for the consumer apps we own - so the attribution mess, the store review that bounces, the paywall test that fails: we live it weekly, not quarterly.
We even built our own tooling for it: a connector that lets Claude read ad, store and analytics data in one place and explain the discrepancies. You'll get the same view.
Not "we promise the moon", not a percentage of your spend.
We don't take a cut of media. Our incentive is your payback, not your budget.
We don't start with ads. If the funnel leaks, buying traffic is paying to find out faster. Measurement and conversion come first; that's where the ×1.5 comes from, free.
We're not a fit under about €5k a month in media. Below that, fix onboarding and the paywall yourself - we're happy to point you to how.
Send three numbers: monthly spend, installs, paying users. We'll tell you where the leak is.
We’re built for fast communication: no forms, no briefs, no call to book. Just write - a senior on the team replies directly.
Mobile app growth: from installs to paying users
Most mobile growth advice is about buying installs: which network, which creative, which bid. Most mobile growth problems are not about installs. They are about what happens in the first three minutes after one - the onboarding, the moment of value, the paywall - and about the fact that the team can't see any of it clearly. An app store is a warehouse, not a shop; installs sit there until something turns them into users.
Attribution that adds up
Meta's SDK, Apple's SKAdNetwork and your subscription platform each measure a different thing with a different delay and a different definition of a conversion. They will never match, and most teams stop trying to understand why. The fix is not another dashboard; it's a single reconciled funnel - install, activation, trial, paid, renewal - with each discrepancy explained once and then monitored. With that, "is €2.30 CPI too high?" becomes a question with an answer: it depends on what a trial is worth, and now you know.
The paywall nobody reaches
In one consumer app we worked on, 21% of new users ever saw the paywall. After reworking onboarding so that value came before questions, 69% did - and annual-trial conversion went up 1.5 to 1.7 times on the same traffic. No new media was bought. This is why we refuse to start with ads: paid traffic exposes weak retention faster, and you pay for the lesson at full price.
Store presence as acquisition
App store optimisation is not keyword stuffing. It's custom product pages that match the campaign that brought the user, screenshots that are tested rather than designed, and localisation where the numbers say it pays - a Spanish-language listing in the US added over five points of install conversion for one client. Together with Apple Search Ads, store presence is where cost per acquisition drops most reliably: up to 73% in our work.
Who this is for
Apps with a live product, real revenue and a media budget of roughly €5k a month and up - subscription consumer apps, utilities, health and fitness, AI apps with web-to-app funnels. Investors with a portfolio of apps that need a shared growth capability. If the product itself isn't finished, start with vibe-coded → production; if it isn't built yet, start with should you build it?.
Frequently asked
Yes, in your accounts, in your name. Apple Search Ads, Meta, Google, TikTok where it fits. You see everything we see.
Fixed, by scope and milestone. Never a percentage of media - that incentive points the wrong way.
Then we work with them. Most teams lack the engineering to change onboarding and the paywall quickly, and the measurement to know if it worked. We bring both - product, mobile engineering and growth in one room.
Measurement in the first weeks, conversion changes in the first month or two, acquisition scaled after that. You get a report every week either way.
Yes. Subscriptions, trials and data disclosures each have review rules; we've been through them many times, including on our own apps.
